100% Havlin Vineyard Gamay Noir planted on southeast sloping Dupee silt loam over Ironstone bedrock. LIVE certified sustainable.
50% gently hand-destemmed & 50% whole cluster for textural balance. 30-day open-top, native yeast fermentation. Lightly basket pressed and settled before an eight month élevage in neutral oak. Moved only by gravity. Nothing added except minimal SO2. Unfined and unfiltered.
Label Series: This year, all the labels feature seeds to symbolize natural abundance + the persistent, hopeful inevitability of regeneration and new life. Pair with lamb, Thanksgiving turkey, campfires, open skies, and all the phases of the moon.Shipping capabilities have recently expanded to include 42 states. I hope this will make it easier to get Color Collector wine where you live. I am currently able to ship anywhere in the U.S. except: ND, NH, UT, MS, AL, VT, KY, and SD.
Please note that temperatures exceeding 70 degrees Fahrenheit can negatively impact wine quality. If the weather en route to your destination is too warm for safe transport, your wine will be kept safely in the cellar until conditions are conducive to shipping.
